The purpose of The Danish Club is to create a forum for Danes and others interested in Danish culture and issues in the Houston area, primarily through informal events and get-togethers, social as well as cultural..

The Club currently counts about 200 members who meet at various events throughout the season which stretches from August to June. Examples of activities include Christmas Party, Christmas Church Service, Fastelavn (Danish Mardigras for kids), Midsummer Party, Soccer Matches, and Special Events centered around cultural happenings.
